Cron every 45 minutes

A common trap: */45 doesn't mean every 45 minutes. The step restarts every hour, so this runs at :00 and :45, 15 minutes apart and then 45. Cron can't express a true 45-minute interval; run every 15 minutes and skip runs in the script, or use a scheduler with fixed intervals.

At minutes 0 and 45 past every hour.

Know when it doesn’t run

Cron never tells you when a job fails to start or dies halfway. Add a ping at the end of the line: if Heartcron doesn’t hear it on schedule, you get an alert in Telegram, Slack, Discord or email.
